Codes of conduct for play

Hi all

We are now 111 members of the padel group enjoying play at Økern and Grini. The trainings are administrated using Spond and functioning well, but I will give you some advice and rules to follow so that we all get better and have a good time.

  • Sign up for training in Spond according to your level. The group level is specified in the Spond invite.
  • Communicate with each other in spond to fill up the teams. This is not the responsibility of the administration!
  • Never be late. Meet 5-10 minutes before so you can all start on time.
  • Use only three balls during play to avoid mixup of different quality balls and risk of stepping on them.
  • When serving always have ball number two ready in your pocket.
  • You finish the games with golden point. This means that at 40-40 the team that win the next point win the game
  • At 6-6 in games you play tiebreak. One team start with one serve. Then two serves each. First to 7 points, but you must win by 2 points.
  • If it is difficult to decide whether a ball is in or out, you replay the ball.
  • Be polite and respectful against your opponents. You don’t talk/shout when the other team is about to hit the ball.
  • Never comment the performance of your team-mate in a negative way, or give what you think is good advice. This destroys confidence and team spirit. Support each other with positive talk and high fives 😊

And have a good time
